Ladies Climbing Coalition is hosting a beginner ice climbing day in Clear Creek Canyon. Join Denver Ambassador Megan (@leggomymeggo1052) and @denvermountainguiding for a guided day trip on January 29, 2023. Space is limited so be sure to reserve your spot today through the link in bio!
This cost of this trip is $115; however, if you are unable to afford that cost, please email kristin@ladiesclimbingcoalition.com. Trip costs include ice tools and crampons, with boots available to rent for an additional $20.
What to Bring: (more detailed list from DMG to come)
– Lunch/Crag Snacks, water
– Clothes for ice climbing (lots of layers)
– Gloves
– Personal first aid kit
– Harness
– Helmet
– ATC belay device
– Ice Climbing Boots* (rental available for additional $20, please specify size at checkout)
*Note that hiking boots are not sufficient for this trip.
Trip Information
Meet at parking lot 7AM or earlier (TBD). Exact location in Clear Creek Canyon will be determined closer to the date based on the condition of ice flows. Be prepared to hike up to 40 minutes to reach the climbing location for the day. We will return to cars approximately six hours after departure.
