Connecting and Empowering

Dear LCC Community,

After ten years of climbing, connecting, growing, and building community together, we have made the difficult decision to close Ladies Climbing Coalition.

This decision was not made lightly. LCC has been so much more than an organization. It has been a community built on the belief that climbing should be a place where people feel welcomed, supported, empowered, and connected.

When LCC began, our goal was simple: to create intentional spaces for women in climbing, foster meaningful connections, and help make the climbing community more inclusive and accessible. What grew from that vision was something truly special.

Over the years, we've watched friendships form, confidence grow, barriers break down, and countless people discover a sense of belonging through climbing. From local meetups to national trips, every gathering was a reminder of why this community mattered.
We are incredibly proud of what we built together.

To our ambassadors, volunteers, partners, supporters, and every person who has ever attended an LCC event: thank you. You are what made this organization what it was. Your generosity, enthusiasm, leadership, and commitment to lifting one another up brought our mission to life.

Although LCC is coming to an end, we hope the connections and community we've built will continue. The friendships, experiences, and confidence gained through LCC don't disappear when an organization closes. They live on through each of you.

We encourage you to keep showing up for one another. Keep welcoming new climbers. Keep creating spaces where people feel like they belong. Keep supporting the communities that make climbing better.

This may be the end of LCC, but it doesn't have to be the end of what we've started together.

Thank you for being part of this journey, for believing in our mission, and for making LCC something we will always be proud of.

With gratitude and love,
The Ladies Climbing Coalition Team
