LCC Gear Scholarship

A portion of LCC memberships goes toward funding the annual gear scholarship, given to women and nonbinary people to support them in their climbing journeys. Scholarship preferences are given to those who demonstrate need, are from underserved communities, and who need basic climbing gear.

During the last three years, LCC has awarded our gear scholarships to 40 people, providing them helmets, shoes, harnesses, and belay devices.

Applications open in the spring.
